Nym

The wester providence of Nym holds a harsh grudge against its neighbors to the south, the ogyr tribes of Dremoraz. In the Blazened Age, the ‘War King’ whose name became the title for the desolate lands he united, invaded Nym on his march across many of the wester providences, and the wilds now known as Elder Blade. Since the conquering and withdrawing of the Ogyr, and the defeat of the Terrorpin, many of the underlings who defected were allowed to settle in Nym at the limited mercy of their elven victors. This set them away from the resulting period of strive that tore much of Dremoraz from itself upon the War Kings death. After centuries that would pass, the inhabitants of Nym established an identity of their own, which they choose to defend against the pressure from the south. When the ogyr attempted a second invasion in the early Earthen Age, the soldiers of Nym were able to fend their enemies off. However, the stalemate that has lasted for decades eventually allowed for Nymoraz Gate to be built, a city founded on never ending war.
